In general, in recent years, the demand for travel search worldwide has increased. Specifically, the search volume for tourism in Chile increased by 50-75%, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bulgaria and Croatia had growth rates of 25-50%. Overall search demand for global travel also increased by 56% year-on-year.
For Vietnam, the main driver for this breakthrough comes from the 19% growth rate in the international search volume for aviation in December 2021. Besides, the number of searches for accommodation in Vietnam also increased rapidly, reaching 228% on February 1 and peaking at 426% on February 3 when compared to the same period in 2021.
In addition, Ho Chi Minh City is said to be the place that attracts the most attention of domestic tourists, followed by Hanoi, Da Lat, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Vung Tau, Phan Thiet, and Da Nang. , Vinh and Hue.
