The Indian consular legalization process includes 3 steps as follows:
Step 1: Notarized translation.
Step 2: Consular certification from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
Step 3: Consular certification from the Indian Embassy/Consulate General in Vietnam.
Note: The Embassy of India in Vietnam only authenticates documents with the seal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India. In addition, they do not authenticate any documents without a stamp.
The Indian Embassy in Vietnam also takes an oath only if it wants to prove the documents of the same person, and does not take an oath on marriage registration and birth registration.
