Through many centuries, Duong Lam, a typical village of the northern part of Vietnam, equally preserved several ancient features such as village gates, wells, and temple walls. Especially, Duong Lam’s road system is shaped like a fish bone so if you arrive from the communal house, you will never turn back to the Holy Gate.

Mong Phu, a communal house which was built in 1533, still retains the ancient architectural features as a symbol of a typical communal house in the North of Vietnam after many restorations.
